In the local news

The important news can be read at the SPIEGEL (Mirror in english) International website.

Germany's New Superstar!!

Quoted from SPIEGEL International:
  • Berlin's favorite polar baby has finally made his first appearance for the public. Cute Knut wooed an excited audience of children, zoo visitors and journalists at Berlin Zoo Friday.

I searched for the meaning of Knut and i found out that it is a typical Scandinavian name. For those of you who do not know where Scandinavia is, don't be shy because i didn't know as well. I heard the term a lotttt in class but never bothered to google. So in wikipedia i found this definition:

  • Geographically the Scandinavian Peninsula includes what is today mainland Sweden and mainland Norway. A small part of north-western Finland is sometimes also considered part of the peninsula. There you go!
Quoted from the article: No More Monster Bunnies for North Korea
  • The fate of 12 German giant rabbits delivered to North Korea is in doubt. The breeder who sent them suspects they have been eaten by top officials rather than used to set up a bunny farm. Berlin's North Korean embassy denies the allegation.
OMG! These rabbits are not the normal small ones which you can easily hit and run lol to show you how big they are....

I have never seen these type of rabbits. They must have tasted reallllyyy good! Poor rabbits.
